“Shit, that sounds pretty bad,” he murmurs quietly in response. No shit, he thinks. It definitely can't be good to find out you've been chasing a mirage for years. It’s a situation that’s way beyond him, but he feels for her. Adia’s a nice girl, she doesn’t deserve to spend her days on the run from a war that’s got nothing to do with her.
“There’s gotta’ be someone who can figure something out though, right? Maybe it’s just a matter of hanging on ‘til then?”
