It's a little of both, considering that she has her attention on him now, rather than her own troubles. Gently, she brushes back Bucky's wing so she can watch Freddy's body language unobstructed. He's not like any police officer she's met before. They're usually more self-assured, take charge kind of folks. Some of that bravado must come from the uniform. Besides, who knows what kind of police work Freddy had to do. Maybe he was behind a desk all day, or writing speeding tickets.
But somehow she doubts that. You don't end up dead in a pool of your own blood because some jerk had a lead foot.
"Were you the good cop?" she asks with a small smile, before blushing faintly at her own question. "Um, I mean. Do they only do that in movies? The good cop, bad cop thing?" He has to be the good cop, if they do. How could he the bad cop with a face like that?
